RT-3000S/3500S high-speed HSS tube mill to a major North American tube producer. The mill is capable of making 2-1/2″ square x 0.250″ wall HSS tube at 400 FPM and lighter gauges up to 600 FPM. The mill is rafted for quick-changeover and includes an automatic universal drive shaft handling system. The reshaping section includes heavy-duty RT-3500S driven and idle side roll stands. A double-sided turkshead straightener with 2-axis remote adjustment with position feedback allows the operator to make straightness corrections from the downstream cutoff station. Offline raft changeover tables were included. An integrated rolling trolley with hydraulic push/pull device makes for quick and easy handling of the outboard roll stand housings.
